• Pay:$24.87/hr

What Will You Be Doing?

• Performing preventive maintenanceon irrigation systems, center pivots, pumps, tractors, and other agricultural machinery.
• Troubleshooting and repairingmalfunctions in irrigation equipment, including pumps, motors, and underground and above-ground irrigation systems.
• Conducting pipe installation and repairs, ensuring proper alignment and function of irrigation systems.
• Reading and interpreting diagrams, sketches, and manufacturer’s instructionsto ensure proper repair and maintenance procedures.
• Working collaboratively with a team-oriented environmentto meet maintenance schedules while adhering to safety protocols and efficiency standards.
• Operating and maintaining farm machineryand other agricultural equipment to support farming operations.
• Ensuring strict adherence to OSHA safety requirementsand maintaining a clean, organized work environment.

What You Bring to the Table:

• High school diploma(or equivalent)
• Experience with irrigation systems, including center pivots, pumps, and underground/above-ground irrigation systems.
• Mechanical skillsin welding, electrical systems, troubleshooting, and repairing agricultural machinery.
• Prior experience with pipe installation, irrigation repairs, and working with farm equipment like tractors.
• A commitment to safety, a clean work environment, and attention to detail.
• Ability to operate (or learn to operate) necessary equipmentto maintain and repair irrigation and agricultural machinery.
