Dive Bar BK is a Latin gastropub at its core—by night, it transforms into a high-energy bar with a massive event space in the back, hosting nightlife events, live music, and more. We’re looking for a Bar Manager who understands Bushwick’s rhythm—someone with strong instincts, creative vision, and the leadership skills to run a dynamic, high-traffic environment.

What We're Looking For:

• Deep understanding of Bushwick’s social dynamics and guest expectations

• Proven experience in high-volume bar management

• Ability to lead, develop, and inspire a cohesive team

• Strategic thinker skilled in creating programming and building systems

• Strong situational awareness and ability to adapt to a fast-changing floor

• Comfortable managing both bar service and large-scale nightlife events

Responsibilities Include:

• Oversee daily bar operations, staffing, and service standards

• Collaborate on event planning, programming, and promotional strategy

• Manage scheduling, inventory, and vendor relationships

• Help cultivate and sustain the venue’s identity and community connection

• Ensure compliance with DOH and safety regulations

• Lead from the floor and create a structured, supportive environment

Requirements:

• Prior bar manager or AGM experience in nightlife or gastropub settings

• Food Handler’s Certification required (or willing to obtain)

• Nights/weekends availability is a must

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
