Job Description

  Overview:
WiredPeople is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant. CNAs will be scheduled to work four 12-hour shifts per week, either day shift (6:45 am – 7:15 pm) or night shift (6:45 pm – 7:15 am). This may include weekend and holiday coverage .   This position is full-time and onsite in Fulton, MO. 

Essential Functions:
  • Provide basic nursing care and support (VS, hygiene, ambulation, transfers)
  • Documentation of patient location, status, activities
  • Escort patients as needed within and occasionally outside the hospital
  • Assist in keeping patient common areas clean
  • Contributes to patient/staff safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations
  • Initiates corrective action as appropriate
  • Contributes to continuity of care by effectively communicating changes in patients’ conditions
  • Complies with infection prevention and control policies and procedures
  • Demonstrates procedural competencies for assigned tasks
  • Complies with all policies and procedures


Qualifications:

  • Current Missouri CNA certification in good standing (required)
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED (required)
  • Experience in developmental disability or habilitation care strongly preferred
  • Ability to assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including hygiene, feeding, dressing, mobility, and toileting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities
  • Able to follow individualized care plans and document care accurately
  • Reliable and punctual , with strong attention to detail and safety
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment under supervision of licensed nursing staff
  • Must pass background check , drug screening, and other required clearances
