Job Title : Data Center Technician

Job Type : C2C / W2

Experience : 8-15 Years

Location : Remote

Required Skills and Experience:

• Basic understanding of server hardware and networking concepts
• Ability to lift and move equipment (up to \~50 lbs)
• Comfortable working in a physical data center environment (cooling systems, raised floors, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
• Willingness to learn and grow into more advanced infrastructure roles
• Flexible to work in shifts, on-call, or weekends as required
• Prior hands-on experience in a data center or IT support role
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and documentation practices
• CompTIA A+ / Network+ or similar certifications are a plus

Responsibilities:

• Rack and stack servers, network appliances, and related hardware
• Perform cabling and cable management for new and existing infrastructure
• Monitor and manage system reboots, power cycles, and basic hardware diagnostics
• Assist in inventory management and asset tracking
• Respond to hardware alerts and escalate issues as needed
• Work closely with network, systems, and engineering teams for deployments and maintenance
• Ensure compliance with data center operational policies and safety protocols

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in engineering, computer science, or any other related field.
