Equity Analyst (Entry Level)

Salt Lake City, UT – Onsite

$47-55K/year

Are you interested in building your career within financial markets operations, focusing on equity derivatives and trade documentation? We’re hiring an Equity Derivatives Operations Analyst to support a global financial firm’s trading desk by managing trade workflows, legal documentation, and regulatory compliance.

This role offers hands-on experience working closely with trading, legal, and technology teams to ensure smooth transaction processing, accurate contract management, and strong client service.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Preparing and reviewing legal paperwork for derivative trades alongside trading and legal teams
• Ensuring confirmations properly reflect standard and custom agreement terms
• Partnering with traders to assess new business impacts and support daily trade issue resolution
• Translating regulatory updates into operational procedures and requirements
• Collaborating on projects to enhance the efficiency and scalability of confirmation platforms

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree; coursework or internships in finance, business, or law a plus
• Basic understanding of derivatives and financial markets
• High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Clear communication skills and teamwork mindset
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word preferred)
